Echoes of Eden

Welcome to the Echoes of Eden blog. Often you can write on the internet and remain completely anonymous. So if I tell you my name is Jeanette and I am married to Mark and together we have two children (a daughter Boo and a Little Mister) I suddenly become not so distant.

I started this blog as a resource for other young mums and as a place for me to blog about my precious family. Although I will be the main writer, Mark may also contribute to the writing side of it as well.

I hope you will find it a source of encouragement, dialogue and help as we journey through this wonderful experience of raising a family.

You may be wondering of my background. I am a qualified primary school educator from which I have taken a break now thatmy children are here. One day I hope to get into it again, although this time I think I might like to work with pre-school age children.

I have been a Christian for ten years, and have been invloved in leading various aspects of church life. With my husband Mark (of whom I married in 2002) we have overseen youth ministries, small groups and facilitated parenting courses.

I love chocolate, spending time with my family and I’m starting to have major withdrawal symptoms from not Scrapbooking for a long time.
