		<description>Im so pleased Rebekah has developed a real love for reading.  It will be worthwhile in the years to come.  
I agree about the importance of books.  Its so sad that some children dont get enough if any exposure to them.

when I read number 6 I was reminded about my partner he is 80% deaf although youd never know his mother did a lot of work with him as a child and he has hearing aids.  Because of his deafness he doesnt know many nursery rhymes but hes slowly learning off me.  Hes cool though because he will make up or put words to the traditional ones when playing with Daniel. 

Also to love reading children must see their parents reading.  So model what you want them to do.

When I was at uni I also learnt that all that junk mail that we all love to hate can be useful.  Kids love junk mail look at them with them.  On it they can learn to recognise letters and numbers.</description>
